The aim of The Spiritual Sun project is to revive the practice of the ancient religion of the sun. Anyone can practice the religion of the sun on their own. However, it can also be practiced with others, and we feel this has a lot of benefits. Teaming up with like-minded people to go out and explore ancient sites, do spiritual practices together, and share ideas and research, can be a lot of fun. The positive energy generated by a group of people working together can give a real boost to someone’s spiritual practice. That’s why we came up with the idea of Circles. They exist to facilitate people meeting up together with others in their local area, while at the same time joining a larger global community.

Solstice and Equinox Celebrations at Ancient Sites

Circles can hold celebrations during the solstices and equinoxes at ancient sites aligned to the sun at these times of year. Combining spiritual principles and the best of some of the world’s spiritual practices and symbols, these celebrations can be held in much the same way as they were by ancient peoples in the same places. Here you can find out more about these celebrations and also view listings of upcoming solstice and equinox celebrations being held at ancient sites.
